Absolutely wonderful in so many ways, Pat more than clipped Bob who is probably not a sweets fan, Adrian really nipping at Bob’s heels, look at all of the numbers, they are close, sort of. A contest like this really gives all eaters a chance to participate, to measure themselves, but since every contest is different and most eaters are uneven for various reasons in their results, personally I would not draw any big conclusions from these results. It seems stupid if someone says I beat so and so, number so and so ranked. Let others make their own judgments, do not pump yourself up, keep it to yourself, imo.
Really great to see Sean Gordon back at the table, I believe he has had some big personal challenges and is probably just getting warmed up. I would bet that so many eaters had a great time at this contest, true competitors at the table but friends and after the contests, hanging out together, eating together etc.
Larell Marie is the awesome cheerleader. BUT, if anyone thinks that she is always just saying nice things, absolutely not. Remember how she ROSE UP after this year’s Nathans women’s division and took no prisoners. I have huge respect for that. She could have just enjoyed herself and made nice, but then she might be known as a person who was always enthusiastic but had no huge spine. Like some other eaters whose numbers may not be top five, she gets huge points and standing for standing up tall. GO LMM, you rank right up there with Sonya in character.

Thx for the kind words everyone! Appreciate them xoxo. Hey I had a wonderful time! I hv a gr8 time at every contest whether a room is comped or not….that doesn’t affect how I view a sponsor. The people I had the pleasure of interacting with were so hospitable, accommodating & just down right pleasant. THAT’s what makes a wonderful sponsor in my opinion, & that’s just mine….everyone has their own, right 🙂 Hmm – lol, you’ve read me right for.sure!!!

Truth of the matter is i think Seiken did not register and had no intention either. The person i truly feel sorry for is Superpaul Barlow. He really wanted to be a part of this event and show off his new found hollywood image. No reason why he should have been waitlisted.

Hmm says that so far no one seems very interested in this contest having had a slew of competitors who are close on each others heels. Maybe there are many contests like this, do not know but it seems that often there are a few eaters who are close in talent and capability and then some who are middle and some unknowns. This seems like a perfect contest to be in. It is too bad that SuperPaul did not get in but given how many people were signed up, I do not think he was discriminated against, at least I would hope not. Really, always looking for conspiracy doesn’t help anyone. Good for SP who creates his own opportunities and says quite honestly that he does not travel to contests in general. I really wish that people would not try to paint MLE as the bad guys, really now……without them you all would hardly exist.
