Well done Steph! .. Is that pulling a Monson? Or would she need one more challenge to do that?

Why is Subich sitting there watching her eat? Nobody is stopping him from doing the challenge

Lol @ BigD. “The Monson” requires two large capacity challenges, but since she’s done it many times before we’ll give it to her.

She just does what Naader Reda does when he does three contests in 8hrs..All that does is belittle what pro eating is all about..

Anon 11:59 – we all know youre alluding to purging between challenges/contests which, if you knew anything about pro eating you would know that probably 80% of eaters do just that. Assuming that Naader and Steph do purge, which I know Naader does not, that would not be belittling pro eating in the slightest. If you honestly think Chestnut digests 60+ hot dogs youre an idiot

How does that belittle what pro eating is about? There are several different catagories involved with pro eating; speed and capacity. Stephanie is definitely showing off her c.a.p.a.c.i.t.y which is very excellent as is Naaders.

@11:59, I guess you have rules about what pro eating is and is not. Seems a bit narrow a view to me. What I really like about competitive eating in the last few years is that there are so many people doing it in so many different forms, not like before when there was a kind of monopoly on what pro eating meant. Torres has a natural talent and is certainly marching to her own wishes. She is someone to be followed. She has the freedom Kobayashi sought and has. But she came to her decisions quickly without being established. I will be watching her closely and cheering her on whatever she decides to do.

Hey, Stephanie is doing her thing, and is happy doing it. She knows who she is and what she wants, and therefore, has the best of all CE worlds!

The world is her Acme Oyster (well, maybe not exactly that brand).
