Andrew Lane has a blog entry about Stephanie Torres finishing the Govanator Challenge at Govnr's Park in Denver without assistance, which is usually attempted by two person teams. The estimated weight of the burger, bun, toppings & fries was 13.5 pounds, which Stephanie finished in 53 minutes. Andrew and Stephanie also won $300 by completing the Gut Buster Pizza at Fat Boys in Colorado Springs.

what amazes me is that in every one of her challenges since day 1 , they have never produced a video from start to finish which would support the claim that she actually ate what they said. If there is a video its usually the first minute or last few seconds of the challenge.

Is this just a idiot fest or do you guys actually believe what you are writing? Yeah, Stephanie probably held back at Nathans? Probably eats 50 now? We’ll I’ve got to give you guys one thing, I do admire your ability to be able to write on the computer with your heads completely inserted up your asses. Stephanie never even came close to Sonya in any competition. Rivals Kobi and Chestnut? What are you guys high? Best woman in CE? She quit MLE because she knew she’d never beat Sonya and it was pretty much her chickening out and facing reality. Sonya eats that Burger in less than 30 minutes now and that’s her just coasting. I mean Sonya just ate 8.6 lbs. of tough, bready king cake pounds in under 10 minutes. OJ, do you have some sort of stupity filter for these jokers.

I think this post is scattered with to much bias. Wake up is definitly right. Yes, Stephanie just ate a 10-13 lbs burger, but in 57 minutes. Responding to What To Do?, the IFOCE can say whatever they want, and if they want to claim that they have the #1 women in the world, they have the sats to back it up… While stephanie has eaten a 13 lb burger in 57 minutes, sonya ate 11lbs of cheesecake in 9 minute! Sonyas also eaten 11.3lbs of lobster in 12, and 10lb 3oz of meatballs in 12 minutes. Also for those who forgot, Sonya beat Stepheie twice head-to-head, Sonya’s 41 vs Stephanie’s 29 hot dogs, and Sonya’s 209 vs Stephanie’s 172 Gyoza.
That all being said, I feel this feat of even eating 13lbs of food is surely and accomplishment and shouldn’t be diminished by comaparing her to sonya, just wanted to set the record straight with all these stupid comments. Everyones on different levels, thats just the way it is and always will be. Kudos to Stephanie!

Torres is up and coming and every… EVERY… other female CE on thier way out…. thats the way it be. Loved them all but she is the future or so it seems at this point.
