Our twisted and winding paths cross again Miernicki. You’re going down my friend.

(Though most people probably already know this, but Dave Shoffner is Mega Munch.)

I’m really sorry that Tim won’t be there. Yes Sonya and Juliet might be competing together, but rather than making it sound like they’re being pitted against one another, the important thing is to see if anyone can beat Bertoletti, the sweets specialist.

I think that both Bob and Sonya will give Bertoletti a tremendous run for the money. I don’t think Sonya likes sweets, but she can pack it away with the best of them and so can Bob. An upset (of Pat) is very possible.

Hmm, this list looks like it is in some kind of order, maybe resembling how I would guess the outcome. Is that what you were going for there, Dave? Cause I gotta ask ya, saw down there towards the bottom, is this a prediction to beat Pete? Pete, how do you feel about Dave’s bold assertion? Good luck guys.

Carey I would suspect it is in order of current/projected near term rankings, compared to which I can almost guarantee that the finish will be fairly close. The IFOCE ranking system is fairly accurate in that regard.

Clearly the maker of this list did not take into account that I’ve recently had to put my Franklin Mint Elvis Presley Commemerative Plate into Hoc, and I’ll do anything to get it back. Sorry to disappoint you Bertoletti, but I need the kings plates to train off of….

That list is exactly how it was reported to me (minus myself and Pete, which were added by OJ). I do indeed intend to not finish last. In fact, I’ve got plans to overtake some of my fellow UEPa eaters. That means you Wild Bill and Brian Subich. And yes, I even plan to outeat the kilted one, Steakbellie.

Good luck to you all. Tonight I drive to Lancaster to sample some of the exact same Dutch Haven pies we’ll be eating this Saturday.

my my Dave, big words. You must be doing some heavy mental training for this one. Good luck all.
No way, Rhonda, Steakbellie higher than Subich and Keeler and Miernicki? Besides, I was being facetious. I know Dave doesn’t think he can beat Pete. 🙂

Pete and I hope that our combined total will be enough to beat Pat.

My prediction: Pat does 11.25 pounds.

Me by 10lbs is my prediction. Win or loose is what I’m unsure of.

Just remember it’s shoo fly pie. A pie unlike no other. Sugar and molasses overload if you’re not ready.

I am very excited. Blackhole finally meets black widow.

I remember this contest…can you say SUGAR HIGH??

This is a tough one…shoo-fly is an odd food. Both dry AND sticky. Couldn’t pay me enough.

Good luck to all the eaters!! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
