Krystal Square Off fantasy leagues
(From truefan) KrystalSquareOff.com will let users compete in fantasy comeptitive eating leagues starting tomorrow. Scoring will be based on both the qualifiers and finals:
Leagues can have a maximum of seven teams but no fewer than four. Once teams have been drafted, owners can drop, add or trade their competitive eaters up until midnight on the day before the regional qualifier final. Eaters cannot be dropped, traded or added once they’ve competed. Points will be accumulated based on the average number of Krystal Hamburgers that each eater consumes in the local qualifier finals and their total at the Krystal Square Off IV World Championship.

Interesting concept — basing a Fantasy CE league around a single event with qualifiers. I assume they’ve figured out a way to reward teams who draft eaters who qualify on their first attempt (versus drafting an eater who might finish strongly in two or three qualifiers before finally earning a spot at the table).

I think I need to set up a Cafe Press site. MM has one already, maybe I’ll work with him to get a shirt for each team, so we ALL can be dorks!

It’s easy to set up a Cafe Press store. Free and takes about 10 minutes to be up and selling stuff.
