I want to hear more about the eaters caught with crust in their hands. This was after the contest was over? Were they trying to hide it? Who were they?

Yeah, that’s an interesting point. Also interesting that they didn’t award for half slices. Hot dogs credit halfs (even quarters). Tamales, pretzels and grilled cheese also go to fractions.

I think they are getting tired of deciding what “half” is, and dealing with the crust left over.

According to their web site a fourth of a slice was deducted for each leftover crust so that would mean that if an eater left crust of a whole pizza on the plate then thats a two slice deduction.

Luther, I think the way they actually did it was every four crusts equals one deduction. Sounds the same, but has differences. Maybe also, they might have started the deduction on the first crust, since that slice isn’t fully eaten.
