Jamie McDonald is the clear-cut 2012 rookie of the year in competitive eating, but the rookie runner-up is considerably less obvious. The next poll will ask who you think should be the rookie runner-up, unified across organizations and genders; the current list of choices follows. If you think someone should be added, mention him or her in the comments (choices need at least 2 contests or challenges in 2012).

    I think the fact that LA Beast lost access to recording videos in his parents kitchen destroys his chances of winning Rookie of the year
