Nice work Pat! It is cool you upset Joey in that one too since the TV crew was there for you and all. Good timing. I think it is funny how the Pat’s voice is replaced with a low and raspy German voice. Awesome!

Guys and gals the last year-and-a-half have been fun, but it’s time for Rhonda to hit the road for awhile. I wish all the eaters, their fans, and people who cover CE with their hearts, like BB and OJ, the very best. Wishing ALL OF YOU a wonderful Thanksgiving, a heartfelt Christmas with those you love, and the most rewarding New Year in 2008 that you ever had.
And a most special wish for Takeru Kobayashi and Sonya Thomas, my absolute two favorites of all time. There will always be a most special place in my heart for you both.

The Germans love competeive eating. I think if we don’t get a competition over there within the next two years, it will be a shame and a huge loss of opportunity. They would treat us like royalty. German TV has already done features on multiple CE’s and are constantly following Crazy Legs and Eater X.
This was a very good piece on Pat as well. Germans really are crooked and I love them for that.

the reason they follow Crazy legs and Eater x is they are hot for their weinerschnizels, and dumplings

‘competeive eating’ is a misspelling of ‘competitive eating’ (my apologies Mr Kraut).
‘crooked’ means “not straight” and it is spelled correctly.
I would argue that Germans are probably more interested in Legs’ and X’s dumps not dumplings, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Was Pat wearing the official “Steakbellie” shirt to inspire him during training? That was a good esophageal lesson, if I could only understand what the hell they said. Pat did a great job and I was honored to be up there with him, Joey, Brad, the InTIMidator, Brickhouse & of course, Sykobozo.
