Joe Menchetti reports that he was the runner up with 22.5 hot dogs at Fish Tales' hot dog eating contest in Ocean City, MD today. J Mac (presumably Jamie McDonald, who was listed as a competitor in Kobayashi's event) won the contest with 36.

    Menchetti has been around for a long time in competitive eating and judging in general by his body, I would think his health would suffer by continuing. There just isn’t that much in it for him anymore and the risks are not worth what he gains.
