Restaurant Online reports JJ Da Lion ate 14 burgers in 10 minute to surpass Leah Shutkever's mark of 12 and claim the £5,000 prize for Red Dog Saloon's burger eating contest. The restaurant initially claimed that JJ was ineligible and balked at paying out the prize.

    Didn’t the same thing happen to Jack Legath with some cheesesteak contest?

    1151 – Jack tried saying he was an amateur when he clearly wasn’t. Then publicly bashed the establishment until they called him on his BS. Other competitive eaters even went and defended the establishment calling out Jack.

    Fine, I’ll say it. I don’t care.

    He never would have gotten paid if he was a white guy. And I think JJ knew what he was doing by causing a stir. He quickly backtracked and told followers to “stop threatening / posting mean comments” to the restaurant’s social media as soon as he got paid the full 5,000. SCUMMY dude

    Charlie and the Chew Crew spotted. He’s the #1 delusional to date but Kyle Can Eat is right there vying for the top spot! Note the cool swag with a whopping 284 subs. And, a whopping 36 views after 16hrs on his latest video! https://ibb.co/wFpBc26D

    @424
    Charlie has stated he does this as a hobby and for fun. The videos are for creating memories of family fun. So he’s not delusional.

    Kyle also does it as a hobby and doesn’t take it seriously he says. So he also is not a delusional.

    These are two guys who just like having fun. Lay off it.

    4:24 – While you’re calling out Michigan delusionals, you can’t forget Semora’s Competitive Pukes, AKA Carol Baskin. Keep drinking your 32oz milkshakes and calling it a food challenge win.

    Eli Lessig is in the house! His latest video he’s complaining and blaming the restaurant for trying to stack the deck against him. What a wuss. Really Eli? The fact of the matter is you couldn’t eat the pizza because it was undercooked. Which can definitely be normal at places because the crust will burn before the pizza is cooked through due to all the toppings inside so these types of challenges there is a big risk you will get undercooked or cold insides. So you inflate the poundage to 11 pounds? Really? Of course all the dumb shits who are weirdos and “follow you” will believe it. WAAAA! What a puss man. You put up 10 cameras and act like a big shot and some big youtuber so it’s going to be a risk period and comes with the territory for anyone doing challenges. For reference here is the point Eli says he’s eaten about 8lbs of a 16 inch stuffed pizza: https://ibb.co/N2Z53LvF Those experienced eaters will know its BS.

    Michigan Delusionals Update; Charlie and the Cringe Crew: 55 views on latest video after 1 day. Kyle Can’t Eat: 86 views after 14 hrs. These guys are going to be rich and famous! And, for all the braniacs here 9:26 is being sarcastic. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

    @9:26 – anyone claiming they do this for fun, yet makes highly detailed edited videos, announces their “schedule”, promotes themselves every other day with posts and reels is not doing it for fun, they are doing it with the attempt to get famous. Which both Charlie and Kyle (and many others) are doing. The funny part is they are a day late and dollar short. Why can’t these guys just admit they are doing it for more than a hobby?

    Eli Lessig – some true colors. And people were defending him on his BS “giving away the prizes” grandstanding. Yeah, he’s a fraud and phony especially with his “have a blessed week” bullshit he states at the end of every video. Hypocritical phony. You don’t do this to restaurants when you SUCK as an eater in reality and blame them. I’ve seen his pussy ass eating in other videos too blaming everything and everyone else but his non-ability.

    That pizza looked nasty AF. They did him dirty, if it happened to me I would have flipped it on the table

    I hope the restaurant sues his ass for damages to their business. He should pull the video. What he did makes it so no restaurant will want to do food challenges due to the risk of some food challenger getting butt hurt with the size of the challenge or how it was cooked.

    I understand the pink sausage was discovered later, but the biggest issue I see here is that no scale was present. I do not have a problem with him, but that’s a very bold title for the video. He could have stated his issues without going that direction. (have not watched it all, but I guess the operator did not admit to it have been made larger?)
    I know we all want a viral video, but this would be a very nerve wracking way of going about it. (for himself and the eatery) No proof either way.
    The fact they tried to charge him anyway for going to the restroom “too soon” does look terrible for them though. I bet that tidbit is not on the rule sheet.

    1:07 – Sue for what? The dude ate the pizza even though it was grossly undercooked. There was f*cking bloody grease on the bottom of the pan and he still said he thinks they have good pizza but use caution when doing the challenge. What more could the guy do? I’d be butt hurt too if I ate a shitty ass pizza and they tried to make me pay for it.

    Also – One thing that made me lose 90% of my enthusiasm for restaurant challenges was that there was no way of knowing the actual weight of the food.
    The last one I did was on very heavy glass plates, so weighing it beforehand would not have told me anything.
    I realize the top eaters have been fooled themselves at some time or another, but they are far less likely to mess with someone like Randy than your average hobbiest. I tried one now-defunct challenge twice years ago (out $100) and recently found out the operator was jailed for health care fraud and had been under investigation for years. Suddenly I didn’t feel so crappy about having more food left than on my first try.

    Kyle is looking rounder in his latest photos. Time to have old Charlie show him the secret to staying thin and frail.

    @2:59

    Exactly. All these weight guesstimates mean nothing if you don’t bring a scale to get an accurate weight. Eli’s pizza honestly didn’t look any bigger than the one served to Radim or Bandana Eats.

    @3:44

    You might not get a an accurate weight pre-challenge, but you can still compare starting and ending plate weights to know if a restaurant actually “cheated” you by serving a larger than average challenge. Useful data to collect as an eater and as you mentioned, make you feel less crappy if a challenge you couldn’t get through was much bigger than advertised.

    Riverside Pizza & Pub Statement from their Facebook in response to Eli’s claims –

    “He threw up and left immediately (hence no shirt). We approached him and he said someone else did it and jumped in his car. He’s not telling you all the truth and deletes anything we comment to inform everyone of the truth. 50 minutes at 550 degrees… not a chance of raw sausage and if so why’d he keep eating it instead of letting us know?? Know the truth and don’t believe everything you hear”

    12:04 – I’m conflicted, the pizza was bigger than 8 pounds but he ate it. He didn’t leave immediately because he stayed for a few and hung out with that family that came out to show support. Supposedly the Owner that is telling everyone this wasn’t even there. I don’t know. Even if he did throw up later on it would have been after the challenge was completed? I saw Radim posted on his video that the restaurant wasn’t nice to him either. Seems like a trash place to go.

    Eli – well well. I saw the post by the restaurant and there is no reason to not tell the truth. Eli states it’s way heavier and at this point in the video says he’s done 8lbs. It’s a 16 inch pizza! He’s full of absolute shit about that. Eli is literally lying about the pizza. And, the place backs that up that he’s lying (barfing! Big surprise eh? NOT!). Here is that pic where he states he’s 8lbs in: https://ibb.co/HDWSFCz2

    12:36 – Unfortunately there is a cut/edit before he visits with the family. Too tough to tell by the car race footage on tv how long that span could have been. Who knows and who cares what he did after visiting with those fans though.
