New Poll: greatest reversal in CE history
The new poll asks what you think is the greatest “reversal of fortune” in competitive eating history. Here is more information about some of the choices:

Dale Boone at the 2004 jambalaya contest – a picture of the after effects is available
Kobayashi near the end of the 2007 Nathan’s finals video
Choose whatever criteria you want in ranking: contest significance, fame of reverser, amount of reversal, etc.

We all know Koby NEVER had a reversal in Nathans, or so we are told. Pictures and videos say he did but those in charge say no.

Sloth wins by a landslide. He did it in one of the largest CE events out there, ON THE TABLE, in front of 15,000 people.

Now that I see Kobayashi’s reversal next to the pukings of these other guys, I have to rethink my opinion of what he did. I’m not sure he really puked. And I would hope that IFOCE would show equal leniancy for similar non-pukes. The sloth reversal was the best. And the baby bird episode was not a competitive eating event; it was non-IFOCE geekdom at its best/worst and was worthy of Pat’s punishment from IFOCE. Funny, what disgusted me most about Pat’s sado-geekism was what you see in another youtube version of the event, how after he was in complete control of his reflexes, he leaned over and spat in that poor intern’s mouth. After Pat did that, he should have been suspended from humanity in addition to being suspended from IFOCE.

Pat was not the receiver which might mean that Pat likes to be on top when he is having sex. This demented idiot that allowed Pat to spit and puke all over his mouth is to blame not Pat. The intern’s golden moment in his entire life was the bady bird episode . He was willing to contract AIDS virus just to get a couple of hits on youtube. This sicko is one total disgrace to mankind. I am sure his mother was very proud of him after viewing such total disgust

Me just think my big fingers no able to hit right key. It no work for me, so I clubbed screen, it no work now -oops.
Me pick Fred Flintstone at annual Bronto Burger Chowdown in Rock Vegas last year. Him eat 22 15 pounders, then it look like Mt. Pukemore. Him have lava flow for almost three hours, him nickname now “Mr. Volcano Head”.
You call him that, he get fired up. Barney call him that once, Fred no let Wilma be Betty’s friend for months. Wilma say she wish Fred had other volcano head, he come up empty lately – him need Viagrock – but that other story.

You forget to mention on Bronto Burger incident how you no eat more than 3. If you tried to be sick, it be like one tiny bronto booger!! HAH – Me rather be famous for too much, too soon then be infamous for none too soon -OOOOOh snap!!

FYI Imgonahurl, it was an optical illusion, I spit in the garbage can, NOT on the prospective intern ..that’d be gross! 😉
