Denver hot dog qualifier news video

CBS 4 has video of yesterday’s hot dog qualifier held at Steve’s Snappin Dogs in Denver. Donavan Busta was the winner with 7 hot dogs in 3 minutes and Matt Kish was second. It also appears that Andrew “Skinnyboy” Lane competed.

update Steve’s Snappin Dogs website has a contest report. Andrew Lane narrowly missed out on second place.

    It appears that Andrew Lane wants out of the IFOCE if he is competing in these non sanctioned challenges and contests

    Andrew “Skinnyboy” Lane or Andrew “A Bomb” Lane. Either way they are the same person. Someone said he has been out of IFOCE for years. BULL

    According to IFOCE Andrew Lane is still a member of IFOCE and is currently ranked number 35 in IFOCE rankings.

    According to Eatfeats own listings here, Andrew Lane, since 2006, competed in 20 IFOCE contests. How can he be gone from IFOCE for YEARS if his last contest was just a couple weeks ago for Nathan’s?

    Hangman Pobanz was disqualified from Nathan’s and removed from contests in Charlotte and Myrtle Beach because someone said he was eating in a hot dog contest that was not IFOCE. Which by the way was proven that he was a judge of a local car dealership contest and NOT AN EATER. Andrew Lane is a ranked member of IFOCE and still he competes AS AN EATER in NON-SANCTIONED NON IFOCE contests and still he competes in the Nathan’s contest this year. On BB’s website it says Hangman was kicked out of IFOCE for eating in a contest which he was not. I call for IFOCE to KICK OUT Andrew Lane for his eating in hot dog contests and other contests that are not IFOCE. According to the hot dog website posted here on Eatfeats, Andrew Lane is scheduled to compete in one or more hot dog eating contests. Clearly he is VIOLATING IFOCE RULES.

    I also appeal to IFOCE that Hangman Pobanz is once again allowed to compete in a Nathan’s Qualifier. This weekend in Myrtle Beach would be fine since Hangman Pobanz had already qualified for that contest. He may not eat high numbers but he brings something good to the table and good to IFOCE.

    Hangman Pobanz should also be added to the rankings to fill the void when Andrew Lane is removed.

    Skinny boy should be removed from the IFOCE BUT Hangman should NOT be ranked.

    I agree Lane needs to go. His repeated actions is a slap in the face to those of us who abide by the rules

    As to Bruce Pobanz. He is already ranked in the Top Ten of the Senior Tour. So Hangman is Ranked.

    According to Skinnyboy’s Blog, he has been kicked out of IFOCE. Many do not expect the rankings to be updated until after Coney.

    Member of IFOCE/MLE is correct. By repeatedly eating in non MLE contests Andrew is spitting in the face of fellow MLE eaters and telling us it is raining.

    The andrew lane’s and pete miernick of this world need to feel they can dominate someplace, anyplace. If you notice skinny boy beats out a bunch of no name amateurs in a wing contest to finish first. Weak eaters need confidence boosters of this nature. Just the fact that they finished first in something does a world of good for their moral
