I read BB’s Sonya/Juliet piece. It’s overdramatized, but very interesting. They both are amazing talents, but nobody, and I mean nobody, could ever replace Sonya Thomas.
Here’s a fact: Sonya is the competitive eater in the world who can say the she has never been defeated by someone of the same gender (even though there have been so few female competiors, though all were very good). Because she’s so competitive, she probably won’t even take that as a compliment.

That’s true! I forgot to qualify that statement with a time period. Sonya has been eating competively for 6 years. I’m not trying to be smart, but how many years has Pete been eating competitively? I think two, but I don’t know.
