Very good article on OCD and eating disorders. Most eaters wont admit it but competitive eating changed their eating habits and lifestyle. Everytime they sit down for a meal , they picture themselves speed eating in competition. . In order to change the way they eat they would have to quit competing altogether. It would still take years to reverse those habits because their minds and bodies have been programmed in adapting to that type of lifestyle

anyone watching TLC? . This 800lb dude consumes 14,000 calories a day. Just sits home and eats . When he orders food he ties a rope around a pale and drops it down his apartment window so the delivery guy can put the food in it. This is some serious shit

I saw the tail end of the TLC show. It was sickening to say the least. For three exceedingly obese individuals consuming 33,000 calories a day is unreal. There were plates of fries , bacon, steaks, cake you name it . They admit they cannot live without tons of food or they will die. One very obese woman needed massive stomach surgery to correct her eating disorder. . They even showed the doctors throwing the excess abdominal fat in the waste paper basket after the operation. I hope they repeat this show.

If lerman succeeds in his quest to become the heaviest man on the planet , he might be part of that show in the near future. I am so hungry right now i can go for a few blueberry pies with whip cream
