Congrats to everyone who made the program. I’m always watching the food network, so it was cool (and apt) to see a competitive eating themed show on it. And Nasty Nate, I saw you in there for a couple seconds, so you made the program too 🙂

The show was garbage. I believe that several eaters faces including Butiful Brian & wild bill were deliberatly edited from the show for spite. Anyone that competed in shortcake and pizza 2008 can cleary back up that comment if they taped the show. Real lowlifes to go out of their way to edit certain people out just for spite

I was upset that they made everyone look like pigs, stuffing their faces as fast as they could. Where was the humanity, where was the joy, where was the love? Most important, where were the Bunnettes?

I wouldn’t go out of my way as far as saying that i was delib edited out of the show for spite but it does seem strange that the camera failed to pick me up. It did appear to look like the camera man only videotaped halfway through the table and then stopped, but i doubt that occured . I competed in strawberry cake and pizza and yes one would have to go out of their way to edit my image because i was very visible in both events. I could understand the camera guy avoiding an action or close up shot but even during a wide screen shot of the entire table, i was invisible . If someone out there taped the show they would agree. If the decision was made solely by the food net without conferring with other parties as to the final decision on editing , then i have no right to complain but if it was other parties acting out of revenge , grudge etc, then that is not only sad but very childish . Bottom line does it matter? By getting 3 crummy seconds on the food network going to make you a star? Of course not . What upsets me is that someone would actually go out out their way to edit me out just to bust my chops . Get a life!

    Brian,
Don’t take it personal. I’m sure it was just an oversight, nothing vindictive. WingKong, PrettyBoy, and Biller were all pictured in the show but hadn’t received any comments. I wouldn’t worry about it. It was about CrazyLegs, X, and Lee.

Like I said, they got more food on em than in em. It was a spoof and doesn’t matter, except for a laugh, and many people probably laughed their butts off.

I dont take it personal . I’ve recieved plenty of media in the past. Eats of strength with Don , Tour De Gorge with Krazy Kevin and a feature on YES network and SNY with Arturo. The segment on the MLE rivalry video with myself and Kevin was immense. I have gotten my share in the past and to this day i am grateful and appreciative for all the publicity that came my way. I think Toro and Superpaul are extremely gifted personalities and should be co commentators for future MLE tv specials. They bring alot to the table personality wise .

Brian you have a great perspective and deserve good things. You’re a celebrity of sorts. Good luck.

I am disgusted, disgusting, outraged, and in an outhouse…this whole thing stinks! The outhouse is kind of smelly, too!!
