    $10 says Deep Dish outeats the elephants ON HIS OWN. Any takers?

    And technically, the headline of that IFOCE.com announcement is wrong. It’s not the “first ever cross species eating competition.” Remember Koby vs. the bear? Ahh, the good old days.

    Like I alluded to earlier, it’s a battle of two circus acts: the side show that is the IFOCE, versus the long- accepted traditional one that is Barnum and Bailey. With just a bit more effort, I’m confident that MLE will have little trouble convincing the public that its stars are every bit the circus performers as the beastly counterparts they aspire to be.

    I dunno Rhonda. As much as we’d all like for CE to be viewed as a “legitimate sport,” on par with professional baseball or even frisbee golf, it never will be, no matter hard the Sheas or anyone else tries (or, in this case, doesn’t try). Maybe this type of attention is the best we can hope for. But I really do hope I’m wrong.
