At first, my 12 point total doesn’t sound all that impressive until you consider I, a mere amateur in my very first eating competition, finished only one point behind The Hangman, who is currently the number two ranked eater on the Competitive Eating Senior Tour.

Congratulations to Hall Hunt on setting another record in Jacksonville. Standing next to him, that man was a machine.

Buffets have a discount price for children and seniors because both have limited capacity. Being the oldest eater now on the competitive circuit, this senior is on that limited eating capacity now. This sport is for the youngsters like Hall Hunt at 27. I’m twice his age. I had little to no chance to win but it sure was fun being on stage for almost 40 years.
On a final note. I read here that “The Hungman”, whomever he or she is, said that if I did not make it in the top 5, they would never post a word here again. Will “The Hungman” be a person of their word and shut the heck up? One can only wish.

I am sorry to say Hangman, but there was an imposter posting on here for the past few months. Although I thought you would finish first or second vs the great Hall Hunt, I would never risk a no post bet on eatfeats. I apologize for the imposter’s agonizing and unfair remarks.
The original Hungman is a big fan of yours and feels obligated to keep the word of the Hangman out there in the world of CE. You are the 8th wonder of the world, the people’s champ and a legend in multiple competitive disciplines. I won’t let you down my friend.

The Jackosnville Newscast should be shut down. How dare they not feature the world’s greatest wrestler and professional eater The Hangman. I am going to write Floriday congressman and I assure you, heads will roll.

Fridge Raider, that’s why you’re where you are and TK is where he is.
It would actually help TK if he qualified. It would serve as needed practice. It’s hard to practice with Krystals in Japan. That’s the hazard of being the CE icon he is after winning Nathan’s six consecutive years, along with the first-ever Krystals Finals.
Having said that, with Hall right there in Krystal country; combined with his work (practice) ethic and devotion to CE, I would not be surprised if within 2 years he puts severe pressure on Joey and Koby (if they’re still in CE). I expect Hall to get around 70 points in the finals. He could even edge out Bob and / or X this year.

I’m just saying he should have to qualify like everyone else, and I agree with you it would be beneficial to him to. I mean you can only eat so many white castles, but it’s not a Krystal. If I was going to pick a winner this year, I’m going with Pat, but well have to wait and see

Koby would probably prefer to qualify. That would only help him.
I feel sorry for Pat. He probably feels just a bit down right now, but that man has the ability to win any contest on the circuit! Anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t playing with a full deck. Even though I favor Joey or Koby to win, I wouldn’t bet the farm on either one of them.
In the next year or two watch out for Flash Gordon and Gravy Brown to make a statement in Krystals, as well as in many other events. Either of them could be the Pat Bertoletti of the future.

Until further notice, Rich Lefevre is easily the number one senior eater in the world – Ron Koch has got to be number two, then a huge fall off to number three/four SuperPaul or probably Beautiful Brian – who has hit the fifty mark, then Richard Foley, and finally Hangman. Maybe they need to make a new rules video. That part about “unless your name is Joey Chestnut” does not ring true anymore. Hopefully this is the only rule that changes AFTER the rule change video was made. Bring back the 3rd wildcard spot !!!

Rich Lefevre has retired so he is not easily the number one senior eater in the world.
I read where The Hangman started those rankings in 2008. 2009 is another year.

Anyone pushing 70 has no business competing in eating contests. I dont care how healthy he eats during the year , at his age it can be hazerdous to your health and worse . Rich got away with it for a long time but now it caught up with him. And dont believe the bullshit that he gave it up because his mother in law is sick .

Hey guys,Rich is one of the best eaters in the world.,layoff you wanabee eaters.AT 80 he would still kick your ass.He will take some time off to feel if its worth the effort anymore.No krystal contest in westcoast so he would have to travel.The cost is not worth it. Sorry to disagree with you Jennifer. I have no idea on who Hungman is and really do not care. I do know he or she is not me.
I do want to wish Super Paul all the best on Saturday. Hope Badlands does not beat you as bad as Hall Hunt beat me and all the other eaters. I’m in the middle of shooting my most recent movie in Virginia and wish I could be with you in Alabama.
For now I’ll go back to reading my lines for tomorrows shoot.

Hello Jennifer. I am not the Hangman. I am the biggest fan of the Hangman and look to become rich & famous while riding the coat tails of his long time success. He is my idol! If I had his wrestling and eating talents, I would have a belt as shiny as his. Super Paul will never surpass the senior leagues #1 eater.

Hangman, I wish I was in Atlanta…wait, I am…just not in the Atlanta qualifier. Yet, I still think Dr. Bigtime, even though he won’t be there, will still eat more than me.
I have done my usual training regiment……nothing…..except think about training, and ran a few miles, and begged my wife to let me go….it worked…I’m going.
I also talked to some great eaters on the phonethis week, hoping to absorb their mouth transmissions, and form that into my mouth electronically, or digitally I guess I should say, causing my mouth to duplicate their eating skills.
This was probably my best idea yet. Much better than peeing on the Krystals…that, I found out, will cost me 20 Krystals, and will make the Krystals, oddly enough, taste like poop. Perhaps that is why I referred to the large burger as the Big Anus.
I will be at the Atlanta qualifier filming my new TV project “I’m Maad as Hell”.
