    I second that. When it comes to competitive eating Sonya has absolutely no female peer. She has redefined the role and ability of the female athlete.

    Unfortunately, because of the extremely low following of competitive eating as a sport. Sonya’s accomplishments will likely never be realized for their greatness until she’s long gone from the sport –if ever. That’s a sad, sad likelihood, I’m so sorry to say.

    I hope Sonya stays competitive for many more years. I think she’s good for at least another 5 – 10.

    Ever notice how certain people wish certain others happy birthday and ignore other peoples birthdays. If i wasnt born yesterday i would have to be thinking that they must be thinking “F– that —- i wont waste my time wishing him a happy birthdhay.

    Dear OJ, Cookie, Liz, Rhonda, The Godfather, The Boy King, and everyone else who comes after this post: Thanks so much for remembering my birthday. It’s a nice sunny day in Virginia and it make me feel really good. But your kind words make me feel great!

    I appreciate the good luck wish Cookie! The Brat Competition will be especially challenging this year. I’m fairly confident I can do 40, versus the 34 1/2 I did last year, but I’m also certain that several other eaters will do 40 + as well. Nothing can be taken for granted these days — so much talent..

    And Godfather, I laughed when I read your post. I don’t know how much longer I can “Kill The Man” (LOL)! There will likely be fewer and fewer victims with each contest. Time to be “Hungry and Focused!”
