Apparently not, at least not an episode of Man vs. Food. I wonder if the Travel Channel will give John Lomascolo some type of consolation prize.

Sooo that woman from Hawaii, who didn’t win, got to be on an episode, but the winner of the contest didn’t? Wow.

Just seems a little ridiculous that the whole point of the contest was to be on an episode, and they would film an episode with one of the losers of the contest before they filmed one with the winner. Now, the winner is screwed out of what he won.

I am not trying to start an argument, but that seems like pretty good proof to me that the contest was a bunch of BS…

Randy should be upset, yes, what is done is done but if any of you put effort into something with sincerity and it turned out to be bogus, you would be upset too. So many gratuitous comments on here, lots of bullshit too, seems that there is way too much jealousy and that is why people slam others and organizations. IFOCE is not the ONLY way to be a competitive eater etc.

Hmm there are also comments from people that use library internet to attack others for no reason other than pure hate. Hate because they are old, sick in the brain and rejected by society. . Thus they need the inernet to spew their hate and anger because nobody in the REAL world will pay attention to them.

I am not sure if cable TV contests are subject to FCC regulations, but if this was a radio station contest, completely reneging on the prize would probably result in a FCC penalty.

See http://eatfeats.com/index.php?s=fcc for information about the FCC penalty WIP received for not following its rules for Wing Bowl 15
