The New York Observer has an article about Adam Richman which lists Eric "Badlands" Booker as one of the finalists for the host of Man vs. Food.

    I don’t think Badlands was one of the finalists but he did apply for the position. The bottom line is that after reading this article it is obvious as to why they picked Richman. He was a drama student at Yale Univ. He had the in with MSG which certainly helped even though he was a copy boy and given a glorified title such as production assistant. That along with being a half assed eater convinced them to hire this idiot.
