Are the rankings that important. I was dropped!!!! Get a life. If the rankings are that important to you, you have some serious issues. You didn’t hear anybody say Joey was #2 and beat Koby he was #1.
The people want to see a good contest not someone that is going to cry and moan. Nobody cares about the ranking of people.Between you and Furious Pete there isn’t enough tissues to go around…
The rankings, just like the value of a contract (in true pro leagues) show value & respect.
When Arnie dropped me from 3 to 4 it was a symbol of disrespect, of me my abilities & for what I had done for aice. Though at the time I honestly thought it was a mistake.
When the ifoce dropped me from #6 to #8 it seemed like a message. Re-sign the contract or else.
Since I kinda like the idea of whats next, i’ll usually choose or else.
The value & respect is largely between the eaters themselves, as well as to friends & acquantainces that may stumble upon the various eating sites
This is likely why I seem to value rankings even more that I think I should.
You got mad because you didnt think the Kuhns was a better eater than you. But he is better than you. You might have him on speed but he could eat you under the table.
aice is not dead.
just having a recharge.
gotta start by getting rid of “#1″.
let him go to ifoce and let el toro beat
IFOCE doesnt want him because they realize they would have another menchetti on their hands. He would end up doing a bunch of shit on his own behind their back. It would cause nothing but problems in the future . Im not saying the IFOCE is the right way but thats how they roll and if you dont do it their way then they cant use you.
Losing the rankings system is bad….people don’t know who is supposed to be the underdog or the favorite. A lot of people want to know who to cheer for. Without rankings it is all wishy washy and listless.

It’s obvious the decision was based on health or personal issues . For him to allow someone else to take full control means it was serious

Did anyone notice that someone besides me is missing from the rankings?
Also, it was switched back to a star ranking.

anony 11:02, In a Japanese type contest (long form) you would be correct.
Not in 95% of the contests that aice had run.
ex) Strawberries from last year & meatballs.
