Article on fantasy competitive eating
The Worcester Telegram has an article about fantasy competitive eating which mentions Liz K’s league:
So whether or not this is a real sport, whether or not its participants are athletes is moot, there’s still enjoyment to be had from watching these accomplishments and at least some group out there is doing it, even if with the less than memorable Web site address of http://www.urbanhonking.com/truefan/archives/2007/01/fantasy_eating.html.
The setup is simple, with points awarded for competing in events, setting records and personal bests, while points are deducted for the dreaded “reversal of fortune” and finishing outside the top 10 in events.

I dont know wheather to be excited at the mention, or pissed off that they neglected to mention the buttons, training facilities, and Skinny Boy’s arrest for covering downtown Denver in Meatsweats Signage.
What about LEAGUE Bonus Point Leader ‘Wild Bill’?
What about WingKong’s new tattoo?
How about Russ Keelers Tie-Dye Meatsweats Clothing Line?
The constant support and encouragement from CrazyLegsMom?
I guess I expect too much for the world to come to my dirty doorstep. There are so many great stories here, I intend to invest heavily in the remaining half of the season into Meatsweats Marketing.
Go MeatSweats!!!!

You’ll find the following link very helpful in your quest for Alternative CE News. OJ does a great job, but he cant tell the whole story.

Ha! Too funny. Though, of course, that link he mentions just leads you to a True Fan mention and not the actual google group.
Steakbellie, they missed a good interview if they didn’t contact you!
