RecordNet.com has an article about Saturday’s eating contest at the Stockton Asparagus Festival.

    Joey will win by .2 ounces over the last of the Mohawkins, Eric The Red will be Eric the third
    big surprise will be Nasty Nate – expect to see him towards the top of a lot of this year’s leaderboards
    Dr. Bigtime will have the most liquid spilled on his shirt-which may or may not help in Best Dressed Eater list – jet lag will be his worst enemy
    El Toro will beat Eric Louie
    Kevin Ross will make strong showing for best dressed eater list without stained shirt
    Parents everywhere will use this event to tell their kids ” If you want to grow up and be a big, strong competitive eater, you have to eat your asparagus like that hot dog guy does”
    The Erbivore also makes fashion statement, with or without protest sign

    ok, i vote my boy Nasty Nate Biller as the most traveled eater in 2008 so far,there should be some kind of award for that…he lives in NY and has been to Houston, New Orleans,South Carolina and this weekend California,.they should give him double frequent flyer miles or something ,Have A Nice Day 🙂

    Joey will win by much more than .2 oz. He will win by about a half pound.

    okay my boy Nasty Nate is already in Cali and he said he is real hungry,i think he will surprise some people this weekend,Good Luck to all eaters and Good Luck to all the other eaters doing Sweet Corn too,they both sound like they will be fun contests,i bet the sweet corn will taste yummy, and please someone post results as soon as you can somewhere,so we can see whats up,thanks 🙂
