Bartolini's will hold a meatball eating contest for amateurs on July 18 in Midlothian, IL awarding $1000/$500/$250 to the top three. $1,000 in gift cards will also be awarded to the top 5. Entrants will need to qualify at the restaurant by July 17. Molly Schuyler will serve as head judge.

    If you can’t afford to travel then get better. No one is stopping you from driving that’s a lot cheaper than flying sometimes. And the only reason those people that Travel can afford to do is because they actually practice and trained to be good enough to afford it.

    @11:37 am. Why would you want to do a contest with no prize? You can’t be good enough to want to do contests with no prize, yet claim you would “bury” the competition.

    The guy who won is named Robert. He travels around the tri-state area doing contests and challenges. He has some sort of mental disorder or handicap–awkward personality and talks to himself. I bet you’d have a hard time beating him though.
