tim was decked out nicely in a suit while he supplied the crowd with some birth control and pat was rocking the evil knevil! the only one i saw wearing gloves was david solomn. i know tim got some sauce in his eye! all of this was broadcasted live including a very drunk joey chestnut talking some trash! if you missed that sucks i sent messages to all the people in my fan club, just another perk for being a member!

What a busy schedule. Erik has consumed more in the last 4 days than most people eat in a month. And now he is on his way to the ASU game to eat those freaky fast made sandwiches. I assume he gets a seat to himself on the airplane, assuming his trip isn’t spent in the bathroom.

Congratulations Erik, king of a very hotly contested food. Terrific photos Val, as always. There is nothing wrong with Pat. Some posters here need to start inhaling a different spice. I do think it would have been terrific for Sonya to be there. There will be more contests. Nice to see close numbers like in all sports. Wish Kobayashi were going to be at next year’s Nathans for that reason. July is a long way off. We shall see.

With no disrespect to OJ or BB, I actually reported the top three first, I did it live via Facebook for my “Wrecking Ball Fan Page” members to see. I really think live feeds are going to be big for CE. We are at an age where you dont need to be on traditional meda (such as tv or radio) to broadcast to the world. Although this was my first try at broadcasting and a lot of things need to be fixed, I think all and all it went very well. I was able to do pre-event interviews with the media, CLC took the reins for awhile and was interacting with everyone, I was able to ask any eater almost anything they wanted to know (I refuse to discuss the “glove incident” with CLC), we got to hear Joey talking some major crap on some of the worlds best eaters and I was even able to get a contest shirt for one of the viewers!! Pretty awesome! I hope next time to have a better turn out and remember, as of know, these live feeds will be for members only!

Wrecking Ball comes through again. It would be nice if all forms of spreading the fun and interest in competitive eating were accepted without trying to one-up someone else or take someone else down. Wrecking Ball does this with class. I do not think anyone enjoys trashing BB, but it seems that BB and his supporters set themselves up to be criticized. If there is nothing on the BB site about this contest, that is his choice. Anonymous calling people losers? Is there fun in that? Keep up the good work Wrecking Ball.
