According to an instagram caption by "Beard Meats Food", the annual Battle of Big Eaters produced by TV Tokyo will not return on New Years Day 2018.

Sucks to hear, hopefully it will return in the future. Had a great time last year!

Hopefully it will return without that attention seeker Erik, who was the weak link on the team.

Speaking of weak links, when will Seiken make his blundering return to CE? Question – which contest will he bomb miserable? Answer – any and all of them. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Instead of Seiken coming back with a string of last place finishes and bringing laughter to us all, I’d prefer the return of Dr. Shmoykin providing in depth analysis of fat and calorie information after each contest.

If the qualifier had been a solid food rather than chili, then Erik wouldn’t have made it through.

Yeah, “Ricegum” I guess I was.. I mean, seeing as how team USA lost..

    Oh shit.. We didn’t though?

Well Erik, you did lose both of your events against Japan. Team USA won because Molly and Bob won their individual events. They could have replaced you with a blow-up doll and the outcome would’ve been the same.

Maybe you need to re-watch the show, (I) did not lose my events. Even if I DID, I’ll be waiting for you to post YOUR results from competing against the best eaters in Japan.

Erik: such a dork, trying to defend himself in an impossible situation. Can’t admit he sucks.

Take a look at this pic:

This is all the debis Erik had which was not deducted. This shows he is a cheater too.

The referee/counter/MC/judge makes the call. If someone has a problem, raise it at the time. Otherwise, that’s it. You can say some people are cleaner eaters than others but calling people with debris cheaters is ridiculous. You may as well say the judge is a cheater.

We only got to see the matches against Japan, none of the ones against Great Britain or Australia, but I’m pretty sure team USA won all of those. Also, Erik kept ahead of Brunelli throughout the whole steak contest with Japan. Patrick Bertolleti was sorely missed, but I don’t think it’s fair to call anyone from the team this year a ‘weak link.’

Idk what you’re smoking Erik if you think that you won the matches against Japan. It’s pretty widely accepted that if the opposing team eats more, then they’ve won and you’ve lost. Seems that the show agreed with my logic when they put a big X next to your name as the LOSING team.

To the people who say that debris don’t matter because a judge will make the call, when have you ever seen an eating contest judged rigorously like other sporting events? Probably 90% of the time you’ll get a pass on debris even if it’s a significant amount. As a contestant, it’s next to impossible to be aware and raise the issue during the contest if someone is at the other end of the table. They’d have to be right next to you and even then it would be pretty awkward.

A troll comes in and posts something completely irrelevant and off topic.

And another anonymous troll trying to (for whatever reason) assert his (or her) alleged superiority over who can eat more food, which I still have yet to see.
Again, if you think that YOU would’ve been better on the show, feel free to show your identity, put yourself on TV in front of millions of people, eat 10-11lbs of food in freezing weather, and THEN maybe you can talk shit.. 🙂

    Toodles!

The reason people are giving you a hard time Erik is because you are so egotistical. You have to post on every thread where there is no need to, as if to say “look at me”. In the past, you have carried on private conversations with people on these threads, which is considered spam. And many people feel you weren’t the best pic for “Battle of the Big Eaters”. Not your fault (blame Todd for that), but that, combined with your blatant cheating, does not make you look good.

When have we ever met in person for you to be a judge of my “ego”, sir? I honestly couldn’t give two shits if someone on “eatfeats” doesn’t think I was the right fit for BOBE. I did the best that I could and proved a lot to myself, It’s also quite comical to see “blatant cheating” come up, because I have no idea what you’re referencing.

This site is strictly the Lamkin Seiken Goldstein show. Nobody else cares to post or visit here

I visit here and post and am none of those listed above. Seiken rarely posts under his own name. US Male uses his name. A few others do too, but I know that lots of people read even if they do not post or they post anonymously when they have something with some intelligent information.

I honestly doubt your claim Erik that you don’t care about other people’s perception. If that were true, then you wouldn’t be compelled to lash out at even the slightest bit of negativity. Just because someone else has a different opinion doesn’t make them, using your own words, a troll. Most of the argument so far has been opinionated, so why is your opinion the only one valid?
