Beautiful Brian always has some insightful information on CE. I am excited to hear he is going to the last Krystal qualifier.
Good luck Brian. I will be rooting for you.
Who else is going? I have a feeling this one is going to be packed from top to bottom.

It takes the “beat-ies” to make the “beat-ers” look great. Without the former, the latter would not look all that special.

    Not true “Rhonda”.

People were shocked, digusted & impressed when the hdb #’s were in the high teens to mid 20’s.

That’s where most of the “table enders” are these days.

I always wanted to be a “beat-le”, but at least as a “beat-ie”, I’m getting closer!!

“Gentleman” Joseph you are missing my point, and have added your own spin to what someone else said, just like you used to do on Speedeat, which is one of the reasons why you are a bit less than embraced by many.

I’m not making any distinction between quantities of food eaten today versus years ago–none at all.

To put it in more simple terms, so perhaps you may also understand it or refrain from twisting it around also, I am saying that it takes all participants to make the contest. The winners would achieve little recognition without having someone to compete against.

Now, what will your twist be on that?

BB, I was reading your Web site’s Bits and Pieces whereby you state you don’t know how much more (getting shunned by the IFOCE) you can take before BB.com calls it quits. Why allow those people to determine the fate of your site? Your site has never been a puppet of that organization, nor will it ever be, I strongly doubt.

You are the Captain of your own ship BB, and many, many readers would be at a tremendous loss if you let an ungrateful, self-centered organization rain on the BB.com parade.

Just keep telling things the way they are. If you don’t, who will? That’s your niche!

“Rhonda”, Again, Not true. Kobe has done exhibitions, as has Crazylegs, as have I. Where we either were eating solo, or against some regular schmoe’s. (Not to be confused w/table endeers)

    Kobe’s 50 hdb’s would have been impressive w/no one there, as would 97 Krystal’s & 60 dumplings.

BB, while having a mind & temper of his own, has admitted in the past to essentially being a puppet for the Shea’s. He is most entertaining when he does step out from his organization.

I’m not spinning anything. Just responding to what you’ve written, based upon my knowledge of this activity. FOR WHAT REASON, would I spin what you wrote?!?

Speedeat was factual! Did it have a spin similar to FOX NEWS, or MSNBC, ABSOLUTELY! I occasionally got it wrong, & quickly rectified it when that was the case.
