    Big Brian doesn’t need permission but his wife does since she is a Nathan’s competitor.

    Yeah they also fail to mention that Bear Mcdonald is competing in this event . Now isn’t that a major conflict of interest for Brian Subich to host a contest featuring an APE member? . Disciplinary action should be applied regardless of whether or not it’s an event for charity

    “Bear Mcdonald is competing in this event” That’s hilarious. A 27 ranked MLE eater is a bigger draw than a number one ranked APE eater. So much so, that the event’s website doesn’t even mention Jamie McDonald. Anybody want to pay $99.00 to talk to McDonald now? Or, maybe you can pay $500.00 bucks to have dinner with McDonald and he can talk about his career at becoming the top independent eater in the world. Regale you with fun stories like the times McDonald lost to every top eater, from Juliet Lee to Takeru Kobayashi. I think it’s great that MLE is letting Brian Subich emcee this charity event, maybe he could put McDonald at the end of the table where he belongs. As long as there is no conflict with any of their sponsors, MLE seems happy to have their eaters do these types of events. Good for the organization’s image and good for their eaters. And, for all of Jamie’s family that’s now going to cry “hater” and don’t talk about our Jamie like that, McDonald and his brother asked for any criticism by falsely promoting Jamie as something he’s not and he needs to taken down a peg to reality. McDonald’s brother/manager is such a neophyte in promoting anything, they can’t believe people are now actually questioning their made up claims of greatness.
