The Simi Valley Acorn reports that Michael Watts ate a 6 pound steak at Dakota’s Steakhouse in Simi Valley, California three days after his 25th birthday. By finishing the steak in under an hour, he received $220 from his family, $50 more than the cost of the steak.

I’m from Thousand Oaks (i.e. right next to Simi Valley), so stories like this make me proud of my hometown 🙂
Also, when Joe Dirt’s parents turned out to live in a trailer park in Simi Valley, that was pretty sweet, heh heh.
