With the deadline less than 24 hours away, the "Hungry" competitive eating documentary has reached its Kickstarter funding goal of $10,000.

Will Millender reports that a Kickstarter has a page seeking to raise $10,000 by March 13 for post-production of the documentary "Hungry", which will cover 366 days in competitive eating from July 4, 2010 to July 4, 2011. The page incorrectly says that prize money for the Nathan's women's division was less than the male awards; the payouts were made equal after public outcry.
In a pitch to Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Jeff Cerulli says his competitive eating documentary will "change the way people look at C.E." (Mark Cuban's HDNet televised several IFOCE programs around 2004-2006.)
