The day will culminate with the official Cayman Islands conch fritter eating contest.

96.5 CayRock Programme Director and Morning Show Host Ben Maxwell said: “We hope to attract contestants both locally and internationally. The current conch fritter eating record is 45 fritters in six minutes – held by ‘gentleman’ Joe Menchetti.”

    I think the highest ranked eater in the south should be sent to this one. AKA…HOOVER! I can see that stud now in his trunks looking all buff and sexy for the cameras with his shirt off. As he eats you can see his washboard abs turning into something that more closely resembles a washing machine filling up with nutritious goodness. Oh, damn! I am making myself hungry.

    This is not an MLE-affiliated contest. It will take an independent eater to accommodate this. With that in mind, I see no one capable, outside the IFOCE, of breaking G. Joe’s record, unless he does it himself. Besides, I doubt the promoters would make the prizes attractive enough to attract any nonlocal eaters.
