    This contest was officiated by some real sloppy weighers.
    There was foul play.
    People were robbed.
    Hopefully its at a different spot next year.

    The “Mad Greek” is a “MAD LIAR”. He claimed to have eaten 49 hot dogs in a Nathans Qualifier. Pure B.S..
    He also claimed to have beaten records set by Kobayashi!

    Now it is clear as to why IFOCE will not update their rankings. The above three names, along with some others, continue to compete in NON-IFOCE contests. If IFOCE were to drop them from the rankings like they did some others, there may not be 50 names in the top 50 anymore.

    I say drop all three of these from the rankings. What was fair for others should be fair to drop these too.

    I agree. #24 ranked Mike Fitzgerald still falsely competes in the Amateur Johnsonville brat eating contest and wins three years in a row. If he is ranked #24 with IFOCE, how can he still be an “amateur”? Somthing smells with that one and it is not the bratwurst.

    The increasing number of IFOCE’ers competing in non-IFOCE contests is proof that more and more eaters just don’t give a shit about that rule because it’s severely limiting for middle to lower-ranked eaters who see more fun and opportunity for financial gain in these non-IFOCE contests. If the IFOCE were smart they’d put a clause in that rule so that it only applied to top 10 ranked eaters or eaters who won a certain amount of prize money in the previous year. Give the other guys a break and let them have fun by eating in local contests. It’s only competitive eating for crying out loud!

    I agree with sixburg psycho, give Bob the credit he is due. Seems like all people can do is whine. Everyone there had a chance to win.

    You Pittsburgh guys need to stay in Pittsburgh.
    Us Cleveland guys will stay in Cleveland.
    We can visit each other 2 times a year, and thats when the Steelers whoop the Browns.
    But unless its a NFL game, STAY AWAY PLEASE.

    The Steelers are so far beyond what the Clowns will ever be that this probably goes without saying, but talk to us when you even make the playoffs again. The broom we need to sweep the division keeps getting smaller and smaller.

    If there is a prize worth winning a ‘professional’ or 10 will show up.

    If u don’t want quality eaters give a $25. gift certificate.

    Usually its just the friends or family who complain, not the eaters themselves.
