Johnnie Excel announces he will compete in a 54 inch pizza eating contest at Big Mama's & Papa's in Burbank, CA on June 24 against 6 people from Wreckless eating. The other members of Johnnie's team will be Jimmy Lin, Naader Reda, Pete Czerwinski, Tom Gilbert and someone to be named later.

    Yeah we aren’t really calling ourselves Team Excel. The poster calls us the “Competitive Eaters” doesn’t it? Good guesses for the sixth person. But who knows, it could be anyone.
