    There is one veggie hot dog called field roast which tastes real good. but it costs more. You can hardly tell the difference .Most other brands of veggie dogs are horrible in taste. Whole foods usually stocks them

    Took your advice and bought field roast dog. Very tasty but very salty. I would think that the abundance of sodium was added to mask the horrible veggie taste
