Ed "Cookie" Jarvis will compete in a wing eating contest at Manny's on Second in Manhattan on Monday night. This might be Jarvis' first contest since his cancer surgery last year.

Its a no brainer that the great Don Moses Lerman will be there to throw a monkey wrench in Jarvis plans

Lerman is no monkey wrench. Cookie will kill him now as before.

I resent that remark. How dare you say that about the great don murses Lerman. This will be a battle to the bone between the surgeon moses and the jaws of strength jarvis

Is this an example of a new trend in independent eating? If Cookie set this up himself as a showcase, how will other possible entrants be decided? In theory, it could be many, Lerman, Krazy Kevin, Menchetti, anyone not under contract. Nice to see Cookie getting back to something he loved, sure that he will keep his health in mind in his choices. Good for Cookie!

None of the names mentioned will be competing in the contest. He set it up for himself to win and nobody else. The few tomato cans or shall i use the term punching bags will only serve as scenery to fill up the table
