Cookie Jarvis to play minor league basketball

Ed “Cookie” Jarvis will follow in the footsteps of two-sport athletes Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders when he suits up for the Strong Island Sound of the American Basketball Association under that organization’s 13th man rule on Friday. Jarvis’ basketball playing appears to be part of a larger weight loss regimen as he has also auditioned for NBC’s weight loss reality show “The Biggest Loser.”

    What ! This must be a misprint. If any one deserves to be on that court Jan 20th its myself and crazy legs. I still have my moves from 1977 . I emailed the PR guy insisting i suit up for the game.

    If Jarvis gets from one end of the court to the other without suffering a massive heart attack it would be a miracle. This is where you need EMT. Later for the eating contests.
