Congratulations to Pat Bertoletti for posting 2 solid 4ths and a chicken sh*t NO SHOW in the last 3 contests. Should have flown back to Chicago after Houston and stayed home.

http://twitpic.com/gvt24. It looks as if Sonya is thinking, “What in the hell did I get myself in to?” So funny!

We want full results. Where the hell is Wild Bill when we need him?

They only took exact totals for Bob, Joey, Pat, and Sonya. Sonya had 12lbs 6oz and Pat was 11 something. Not sure about Joey. I think Kevin Ross had 5lbs and Nathan Kunche said he had 3.5lbs and I had about 3.25lbs. Not sure about the other competitors.
I’m disappointed with my total. I couldn’t get a decent rhythm, but at least I had enough room left in my stomach to go on rides afterwards.
P.s. I got to eat next to Sonya 🙂

Craig, they did come around after announcing top 4 and record totals for non-money folks. Though maybe they didn’t weigh everyone carefully but top 4, but kind of no point really since no cash involved and big spread between people. Full results probably just haven’t been posted yet. I ate around 6.5lbs. . .I think they said I ate 6lbs 2oz (close enough). All I had to do was eat double what I did to get into the money, heh heh. Fun contest though and I got to visit Jungle Jims market while in Ohio, which was totally awesome.

I was away from the stage at that point. It was definitely a fun contest.

What’s the point of even following a sport if you can’t even get full results after a contest? The IFOCE should be embarrassed. A fifth grader with internet access could do a better job of reporting than this.

I was at King’s Island yesterday! I really think that Humble Bob guy beat that kid from San Jose by at least a pound and a half. Humble Bob is a force to be reckoned with! Why did his ranking drop down past the goofy face painting guy? Can anyone help me on that?

Because that “goofy face painting guy,” better known as Tim Janus, ate 53 Hot Dogs at Nathan’s on July 4th, almost an entire dozen more than Bob, whose total was a still impressive 42. Nathan’s is the Kentucky Derby, the Indy 500, the Super Bowl of competitive eating.

Touche, OJ. Unfortunately, I was not at the Taste of Hamburg-er contest, but if I were running a professional organization, charging clients tens of thousands of dollars to promote their events, had several employees under my watch AND I had a website on which to report said results, you can bet I would post full results after each and every contest. The UEPa has none of things and has no aspirations to be anything but a group of friends who like to eat.
