Spirit Newspapers has an article about "Damaging" Doug Canavin's attempt to qualify for the Wing Bowl for the eleventh time which states that there was a Wing Off qualifier at The Nut Hut last night.

His statements are so full of crap. Nobody beats him in 10 minutes? That’s why it took him three tries to get into Wing Bowl 16?
And whoever wrote the article – unless something has changed, Joey is not expected to be there. Idiot.

I agree about the irresponsible reporting 11:27. There’s no excuse for it.
If I, or any of the people I worked with, produced our products as unprofessionally as the author researched his information for the article I’d be fired, and rightfully so!
Yet, inaccurate information seems to be the norm, versus the exception, regarding CE-related articles—-even from the larger media sources, and I have no idea why, especially in today’s information age, when research can be conducted with the stroke of a few keys on a keyboard.

It wouldn’t even take Pat giving his best effort BA … but I’m not knocking Doug’s talents. I guess it’s good to be confident, because if you’re not, there’s no point in participating.
