Dan Kennedy annouced he ate 20 burgers to win the first prize of $1000 in yesterday's eating contest at Lumpy's Burgers in Antioch, CA. Edward Chin was the runner up and Scott Rubin was 3rd. Previous winners were not allowed to received the first prize money, which prevented Molly Schuyler from defending her title.

No reason to exclude anyone, pros will just keep showing up and winning until they make it a no pro show then what is the point…

More should use this system. Better than trying to exclude eaters by saying no pros or amateu only. Let’s people come and win once. Eventually you cycle through eaters

Agreed @7:41. Also was this an Elite Eats contest or has that become one of the most overhyped and irrelevant organizations that is no longer an organization?

elite eats is just starting, I’m sure in 2020 they have something planned? They have some talent and some new faces which is what the sport needs!

yeah but do the challenges at home and not in restaurants because if copyrighted music is play in the background and youtube doesnt pick up on it when you upload the video you will be in the same boat as furious pete
