If they allow her to compete in non sanctioned events , the same should apply for everyone else . This is the second time she got away with competing in non MLE events. What makes her so special?

No not goodbye MLE. They cater to her and allow her to compete in these non sanctioned events because they feel sorry for her

By eatfeats count, Daniella made slightly more money in 2 contests, within 10 miles of her home, than in her entire MLE career.

Menchetti was too busy to go claim this $500?

Menchetti won $600 in the Hampton Beach lobster roll contest.

Does anyone really care how much menchetti won besides menchetti.? Does menchetti winning money put money in our pockets?

11:48 just doesn’t like Menchetti. lt’s a stupid comment and not the first time it has been written. No person competes for someone else. What people do with their earnings is up to them. No sharing is required like in life. Wake-up Mr. Negative.

The IRS are onto Menchetti. He will go to prison very soon.

If you do not share with your’e fellow brother or sister , then you are a worthless human being . It’s all about sharing

You are right 1:19 PM. I did not explain myself well. I was referring to comments from the past when sarcastically, the person would say that the top eaters should share their winnings or other instances like that. Of course sharing and being kind is what life should be about. I am sorry I did not explain well. Writing a comment on this forum shows that you do care one way or the other.

If I was a top ranked or champion eater the first thing I would do is share the wealth with less fortunate eaters that never make the money spots. Big names like chestnut fail to realize it’s those little people that make up his supporting cast. At least help them out with gas or traveling expenses instead of being a greedy pig

That is just the kind of nonsense comment I was referring to. If you sign up for a contest, you pretty well know your chances and that you will have to pay your own expenses. It isn’t Joey or anyone else’s decision for you to do that. You do it yourself and should expect nothing from Joey. That is just silly.

Might be silly but it doesn’t hurt to be generous

The supporting cast should be getting expenses from MLE.

What is really unfair is when the top eaters get appearance fees just for showing up on top of the money they win in the contest itself while all the other eaters have to pay for all their expenses only to get a smaller piece of the pie. Unless you can find a contest without the top five or six (good luck!), you will be lucky to make expenses unless the contest is in your area. The pay structure should not be so top heavy and more spread out.

Do you really think only MLE gets appearance fees?? Be assured, if so, you are very wrong.

7:56 is absolutely correct though I do not think the top eaters get appearance fees just for showing up. There should be absolutely more payouts and more even payouts. But in all honesty, eaters have been saying the same thing for years with no results. I think MLE just does what it wants to do and doesn’t listen to concerns of eaters. And there are always new people to take your place, more people who want to compete than places.

the appearance fee rumors have always been speculative and never confirmed but if that is the case , please refrain from high five chestnut during the intros’s Its enough you are making an ass of yourself shaking someone hand who you know is going to beat you and rake in the money , but you are making twice of an ass of yourself if he is collecting an appearance fee to boot

6:59 hit the nail on the head. Payouts have never been fair and they never will be for the vast majority of contests. MEL knows that mid level eaters will show up just to compete regardless of the puny payouts for eaters out of the top three or four spots.
