How do you know anonymous at 10:48am? Looks like a pretty thick sandwich to me. Was said to weigh 3 lbs.

Glad to see the IFOCE has rescinded its ban on challenges, or will this eating juggernaut be suspended?

Link, Anon221, link!
If you had added one, I’d would have clicked on it. Otherwise, I’m too busy to even THINK about trying to find it on BB.com.

If a suspension was imposed upon US Male, knowing him, he would tell them to go f– themselves and become an independent eater

Being that he used his real name, took photos with the staff for their website and did an interview with Philly.com we can pretty much assume he wasnt trying to hide this. Or maybe he’s such a fame whore he cant stop himself?

The below was posted about Bacci’s but applies here as well.
While it looks like a big purse for Bacci’s, if you look at the way the whole thing is set up, they will get publicity without involving any of the eating organizations. It’s their anniversary, they want to throw a kind of party. They will still sell pizza just with the qualifiers. And by barring professionals, it gives a chance for people who live in the Chicago area, fans of competitive eating, people who have wanted to try it out, to compete.
And, as usually happens with these contests or challenges, if any eaters who have indeed competed before, even if they are not officially affiliated with any groups at present, are winners, one way or the other people will find out. It is not this website which “outs” people.
So everyone, follow the rules of your organization or make arrangements with it to do challenges with permission. No one should be surprised that people are paying attention. That is why these places do challenges and contests. There is nothing in it for them to keep secrets for eaters who are not sensible about these things. If you don’t like the way your organization restricts you, do a Koby. Or organize yourselves. Be smart, be aware or beware.
And SPBBBBMBBB, if you want more media opportunities, you should be a bit smarter too. Even if there isn’t a Krystals this year, you have absolutely no idea what opportunities there may be for the future. If you are IFOCE, do what they want or speak with them about what you want to do.
I am not a Union Boss, but unions have their strengths for sure. I am just a great fan of competitive eating wanting the best for all eaters. It never hurts to ban together for what a group wants rather than trying to take others down individually through jealousy. That seems to be what happens too often between eaters here and in other places.

Union sort-of guy anonymous: I hope you are right about more IFOCE contests…I just hate to think there may not be a Krystal Square Off – that has always been my favorite contest, and my favorite food to eat in a contest, and the greatest sponsor that treated the eaters fantastic…..Now I have to go to Krystal to calm myself down…must drive…can’t…blog

I went and had a big lunch, so what! Can I help it if others were amazed at the size of my lunch? There was no conversation about keeping my lunch quiet.
Hate if you want. I was bored.

Way to go US Male. Best philly eater from NJ.
For all those who are calling for a suspension, keep in mind that Pat Beroletti attempted and failed a challenge in philly over memorial day weekend. Little fan fare and he wasn’t disciplined.

The sheas discipline whom they choose to discipline. Larue received a one month suapension for the pasta contest but he was a repeat offender which not only cost him his ranking but his future with MLE. Joe Larue will never return to the IFOCE

Here’s to Steakbellie, the eater with a gazillion sets. He’s smart, he’s funny, he has interesting ideas, is dedicated to competitive eating and absolutely unafraid to post under his real name, unlike anonymous me. If you believe in something, say it. And he clearly does not tolerate devious mischief.

See. I told you. He’s funny and self-deprecating. You must know how to post under another name other than anonymous. I can’t register to do it. One e-mail address, one source. I have no interest in being devious, just simply not brave. Perhaps too stupid with computer stuff but do not care. I am either anonymous or me. Laughter please.

Any word on if USM has been suspended for his “big lunch”?
anonymous said
August 2, 2010 @ 11:45 am
What kind of word? He has to receive an email as to his status. If he is willing to share it with us , its his business. Keep in mind if they suspend Male the same must apply to Keeler. If none are suspended , then Larue can file a class action lawsuit citing favortism

If Joey can eat the bacon hotdogs at comiccon and Monson can do whatever he wants without consequence, it is confusing to other eaters if there is a problem with them doing challenges as well. . .competitive eaters compete for fun, hardly anyone has a financial incentive. . .challenges are fun and harm nobody. . .it is crazy that anyone would have a problem with them (whether it be the sheas or all the douches who narc when they see someone who had a little bit more fun than they did). Can we get out of junior high school here people? I’m telling. . ..waaaaahhhhhhhh
