Why is Steve “The Dawg” Ramirez (who finshed 4th in the pro division Rib eating contest ) not listed in this poll. His son Steven “Steve-O” Ramirez (who won the amateur Rib eating contest ) is listed.

Total points is not the best placement indicator for the higher-ranked eaters —- those in the top dozen or so —- when the number of times voted for (in any position) is not equal among those under consideration.
The most meaningful information is attained by using the average of total points divided by number of votes. It’s not perfect, but it helps reduce bias/oversight (i.e. look at the top 10 of the Registered User responses, for example).

Maybe they haven’t got a shot at the Top 25, but Jon Bello and Damien Boykin are also totally missing
