A press release announces that Dickey's Barbecue will hold a pork sandwich eating contest in Dallas on October 18. Five qualifiers for the contest will be held; the first will take place in Raleigh, NC on September 15. The BBQ Jew is calling for a protest of the qualifier where competitors would not eat any sandwiches while wearing a T-shirt from a local barbecue restaurant.

    I don’t think these people know what is going on. you call them and they didnt know they were having a contest.

    i heard a promo spot on 96 rock and they didn’t mention the contest, just that they would be broadcasting from dickey’s and giving away concert tickets.
