these rankings get more comical every year. Glad to see Bill Myers is still hanging in there amongst the top 50.
I don’t think William Lyon has done a contest since July 4, 2024, yet somehow he made it into the top 50 this year? Not that I think he’s a bad eater, but wtf is MLE looking at when putting these “rankings” together??

@8:21a MLE probably waits until the 3 year contract lapses before moving them out of the rankings completely but lack of activity leads to a drop in the rankings. Good to see Radim nearing the top 10 and Jerome moving on up as well. Kylan also hasn’t done much eating on the circuit in over a year as well. Cameron and Jerome look to be ones to watch for the 2026 season unless we get some more talent with the spring season upon us …

look the good old days of competitive eating are a thing of the past with the departure of the old school eaters like don lerman beautifulbrian ed jarvis krazy kevin and sonya thomas they were the pioneers of the sport although a few of the names mentioned were not the greatest eaters in the world they set the stage for those top 50 names mentioned especially cookie jarvis in his heyday could hang in with the best of them

Curious GeorgenChiger apparently did a wing contest that was not MLE sanctioned. Does that mean eaters are now allowed to compete in non official mle contest because that would be awesome !
