This game makes no sense. How can a victory in pretzels be worth 9X as many points as a victory in pretzels?

Huh? What’s the first question? And I’ve outlined my reasoning for giving points for sanctioned challenges on the site under “Scoring.” Feel free to register there and leave comments and questions.

Because IFOCE permitted that challenge, and splashed it all over their website. He is not getting credit for the burger in Memphis, which IFOCE probably didn’t approve.

maybe fantasy points should only be doled out for ifoce point events that is how fantasy leagues in nfl or mlb are

and that would be more fair than allow some challenge before the ban to count but not count challenges since the ifoce cannot handle it

1. I’m only giving out “IFOCE point” when the IFOCE gives them out, so that’s why none were awarded for Wing Bowl. However, I decided that since it was a sanctioned even, I would still award points for personal best, breaking a set record, and the amount of wings eaten would go towards the eaters’ running totals. IF Chip and Bob want to provide totals, I’ll add them in. If not, that’s cool, I just can’t award credit. I’m giving Bob a point for personal best because Steakbellie said so.
2. I don’t know how to play fantasy sports, so this is my version of it. I think it has the proper balance of reality and fantasy, so I say: points for exhibitions! (But only record breaking points.)
3. I wasn’t going to count restaurant challenges, even before the ban, just because logistics were weird.
4. OJ said they announced tamales for May, so I just stuck that in there in anticipation. Tamales!
