The Fink Beats the Stomach podcast announces the Finkies competitive eating awards ceremony at Bar 9 in New York City on January 16. Voting will open December 1 for 5 categories: male eater of the year, female of the year, rookie of the year, upset of the year and youtube feat of the year.

    This is the first eating award ceremony since Ed Jarvis held one at the Islandia Buffet famous for its $8 buffets and guaranteed food poison back in early Dec 2003 and expected everyone to show up in 10 inches of snow

    Why don’t that have “overrated eaters over 50” award given to seiken, but then again why should that loser win anything?
