    Crying shame that Seiken was asked to participate via a phone call by George Shea in Aug 2001 only to find out he was left off the boat . It was either FOX network or Sheas that had something to do with it. The flight was scheduled for Sept 12 2001 but after 911 it was pushed back because of the terror attack and some of the glutton bowl contestants were terrified to get on a plane. The ice on the cake was a formal letter sent to all IFOCE members in Jan 2002 from Nancy Goldstein excited about the fact that Glutton bowl was about to air on the FOX network. Seiken saw the email and responded back . “I could give a rats ass about the event . Don’t send me any more emails. It was at that point that Mr Seiken was temporarily suspended by the organization but still held his #62 out of 65 rank in the organization

    In the beginning, there was a competitor named Andrew “Ace” Goldstein. Is he any relation to Allen or Dave?

    Also, though I can understand why he worse them, I really wish Kevin Lipsitz wore something else other than sweatpants and white socks, which were not evenly rolled down. It just looked bad for the sport.

    Also, if there were only a certain amount of spots, how could Brian Seiken reasonably be expected to be let in if he was ranked so low, at 62? Shouldn’t the spots go to the top-ranked eaters?

    Nancy Goldstein was one of the first marketing / secretaries hired by the Sheas when they started the IFOCE followed by Kate Westfall, Mike Antolini and Sam Barklay Antolini was probably the best out of the bunch

    IFOCE was not the first to be contacted by FOX. There were other independent eaters or members of the IFOCE that were directly contacted by FOX before the Sheas were even involved. They jumped on the bandwagon with the Glutton Bowl thing and since some of the names they contacted happened to be with IFOCE but were not under any binding contract, the Sheas immediately mailed out contracts to all their members. . The orginal contracts looked entirely different from the contracts present and past members were asked to sign. The original contracts appeared to come across as a win win situation for the eaters.

    1158 i think the original rankings came out after the glutton bowl aired or either very late 2001. The IFOCE rankings were not solidified . It was still a local thing and Shea was picking names that resided in NY or CT like Jarvis Lerman Seiken Lipsitz Booker Menchetti Feingold Hardy. FOX contacted O karma Wingador Kobe and a few other names on their own

    So as far back as 2001, Seiken was considered a no talent loser and banned from appearing on a nationally televised event.

    1:18: Were current IFOCE members already under contract forced to sign new contracts immediately, before their original contract expired?

    Also, if there were new contracts in 2001, how did the likes of Chestnut, Hunt, Janus, and Bertoletti do the Pointersaurus Pizza challenge in St. Louis around 2005 or 2006?

    What did Goldstein accomplish in his 8 yrs withIFOCE besides beating up on little girls in Nathans qualifiers collect 5 undeserved trophies and finishing dead last or next to dead last in the finals

    I believe original contract promised members a minimum amount of media or payed gigs with Sheas receive a small percentage of their earnings. Only problem with that was that only a select few reaped the benefits while everyone else played role of the little munchkins

    This is just to prove what a phony two faced fake that Mr Bosley from Plainview NY really is. When Smelkin ran his famous internet show Beautifulbrian corner, in one of the episodes Smelkin revealed some of the chicks he picked up and banged when he was younger . He even posted a few pics of them just to make people jealous. How come Mr Bosley didnt report here and dispute those pics or the chicks Smelkin claimed to have picked up ? Hmm? Hmm? No No he waited till he had a falling out before he made his presence felt on here about Smelkin. Thats when the roach comments became visible, thats when the hygiene comments (which are mean and false) became visible. Ill tell you one thing Mr Bosley was damn jealous when he saw the pics of Smelkins ex girfriends because he knew he couldnt date anything remotely close to the caliber of chicks Smelkin had in his stable

    Thanks OJ and thanks for finding that! That was a good read. Now I wonder if IFOCE immediately imposed that term on all existing contracts in 2007, or waited until the contract expired before adding it.
