Some sad news from "Furious" Pete Czerwinski: in his latest video, he announces that cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and will undergo radiation therapy. Pete had a cancerous testicle removed last year, but unfortunately that did not get rid of 100% of the disease. Pete's vlog channel https://www.youtube.com/user/FuriousTalks/ will document his treatment.

    Never rush to judgment about being cancer free. Its never gone. Man that totally sucks. Prayers go out to him and family

    Cancer is a losing battle . Basically on the clock after the diagnosis. Very sad that he’s only 30yrs old and has to deal with it

    Survival rates for all cancer types improve each decade.

    “The number of people living beyond a cancer diagnosis reached nearly 14.5 million in 2014 and is expected to rise to almost 19 million by 2024” (National Cancer Institute, 2015).

    And beyond the science, it’s important to have and practice faith.

    Now Rhonda is an expert on Cancer or maybe she just googled some info which nowadays everyone is doing so they appear as though they know what they are talking about . Pancreatic cancer survival rate 1yr if lucky Colon cancer 15yrs if caught early but by the 15th yr your dead. Lung cancer 2yrs at best Thyroid cancer 95% success rate if caught early Skin cancer 95% success rate if caught early. Prostate jury is still out on that one. Brain cancer make out your will ASAP. Stomach cancer 2yrs at best. Breast cancer very treatable but luck of the draw on that one. Ovarian 2yrs at best . Testicle cancer very treatable but now that it spread to lymph nodes its 50 50

    Today is a very sad day in the world of comp eating after hearing about Furious Pete. Many competitive eaters are now getting a wake up call and thinking about their own mortality / Who’s to say i’m not next? Yes that is what they are thinking at this very moment

    Alright 9:40, please explain how testicular cancer is linked to competitive eating, rather than genetics and all the same factors that Lance Armstrong encountered along with everyone who doesn’t involve themselves with competitive eating? Would love to hear this lol

    I highly doubt competitive eating is linked to testicular cancer but it seems that vegan activists who blast Pete on YT seem to find a correlation with both. If anything competitive eating would be linked to the obvious colon cancer stomach cancer or possibly liver cancer. Cannot rule out prostate due to the high sodium intake competitive eaters are used to . Testicular cancer is either genetic or steroid related and you can take that last sentence to the bank
