But really, no kidding – how sick and tired (literally) do we need to get before this “megastar” gets a life? Unless you have literally zero self-esteem or otherwise a wicked megalomaniac streak, is it just me or is this dude getting just a wee bit tiresome?

    Note to Pete:
    (1) You’re never getting into IFOCE. Thank yourself for your great attitude and judgment – they’re doing you a big favor.
    (2) You’re never going to be ‘famous’ outside of Canada and maybe Germany – they love anything wierd.
    (3) Glad you’re not sick in the old way, – happy when you eventually snap out of your latest delusion.
    (4) Spend more quality in the gym and especially the showers with your fans – they will really appreciate it. Trust me on this.
    (5) How’s that education thing coming along for ya? Any graduation plans in the future, like, with a job? Maybe you could take a moment from your media barrage to enlighten us what your parents are really spending their money on? Grad student, really?
    (6) It’s kind of sad that mom seems to be so happy to be on camera, she still can’t figure out what you’re up to career-wise even though she’s paying for it.
    (7) Seriously enjoy this, share it with your friends, family and fans. There’s big/smart money betting that it won’t last long.

A little more pleasant and a bit less hubris might serve you well, but since no one seems to be able to tell you too much in that regard, you’ll undoubtedly get the chance to figure it all out on your own. What a party that should be. Maybe you can invite all of your Facebook pals to that one. By then everyone else will have long since figured it out.

    Carpe Diem.

Selling Competitive Eating as what took you out of anorexia Pete never looked like a good idea to me. It’s marketable, but i bet it does no good for those that are suffering from the same problem you had; it can do harm to them instead. It’s clear competitive eating played a role in your life, and that it helped you out to get rid of anorexia, but probably not by itself but as a trigger of something bigger.

I’d like to sincerely recomend you to be more clear and stress those aspects next time and, if you can and you want to, to get rid of the anorexia marketing altogether, bc you can actually sell yourself without it and you can still help those suffering from anorexia if you want to in a lot of different ways.

Best of lucks in your CE career Pete.

    Pete

You are a good eater but it just seems you starve for attention. I think it’s about time you put it behind you and grow up. Obviously in Canada people must thrive on the past issues.

Pete ignore that idiot. There is a possibility that anon 826 is the same ass that berates Beautiful Brian. He seems to have a hangup with people that were born with muhammad ali syndrome

anorexia is not a life threatening disease in the magnitude of lets say, cancer. Overcoming anorexia is paltry in comparsion to beating deadly forms of cancer such as lung, colon, brain or even prostate and kidney cancer. The first three have very limited life expectancies. I dont think Pete starves for attention. There is nothing wrong with someone trying to make a name for himself while making money in the process. He has tried to align himself with MLE and more than likely would be a member as we speak if not for a few insecure jealous individuals that put the whammy on that one . Another Dixie Walker Jackie Robinson scenario all over again. or shall we say lobbyist. If you have a hard time understanding where im driving at , as Casey Stengel once said “look it up” REad read read thats what the internet is for . That is what wikpedia is for. Some of you are too lazy or stupid to do either. Pete will continue to recieve praise on Bodybuilding.com where he is percieved as some sort of god while on here he gets beaten left and right with pot shots . . In closing i think that was a low blow mentioning his mom being happy on camera. Both his parents suffer from a debilitating illness that will progressively get worse as time goes by

Anorexia IS a life threatening disease, and it is ignorant to compare it to cancer on a scale of magnitude. I would guess that the real reason Pete is not in the IFOCE is that that particular “storyline” is not something they wish to promote.

I am a eater anonymous 9:42 and I’m no a BB fan. This is an eating website not a soap opera which alot of people made it out to be. Yes Pete does starve for attention. Truth is truth. People post things on here that really don’t pertain to contests. You think the Shea’s give a damn about Pete and his anorexia. He’s not with MLE for a reason. He’s not with AICE for a reason. He’s just a spoiled little brat
who doesn’t care about anybody but himself. When things don’t go well he allways go back to his health issues. If they were that bad then why in the hell is he still eating. Everyone has hurdles in their life they just don’t announce them to get attention.

anon i cant believe you are that naive. Pete health issues were used as selling point for the movie . Drama is needed in order to keep the audience interested or else its all about a body builder that strives to become a great eater which at this stage of the game is nothing new. Competitive eating has featured other bodybuilders beside Pete. Its all about number1 . I mean its ok to cheer your fellow team mates on from time to time but in the end it boils down to selling yourself and looking out for yourself.. Lets face it besides Pete, you have the Jarvis Seikens Lermans, Larue’s US Males, Dale Boone’s Dr Bigtimes Reggie Jacksons Muhammad Alis. What do those names have in common? Very simple. They can deny it till they are blue in the face but in their eyes the world revolves around them and nobody else. Some of those names take it to the extreme more than others . Most of the time they will talk at you and not to you. They are without question theeee greatest of all time

When is Furious Pete and Brad the lunatic finally going to square off ? I have been hearing this bullshit for the past 2yrs and it is getting stale. I say make the match at Dennys with the two Brians Beautiful and Big Brian doing the play by play . Pete needs to get the lunatic off his back and then move on to bigger and better pastures

Not petes fault so please dont blame him for the ego trip he is riding ,Blame those high school steroid pushing junkies on bodybuilding.com that shower him with praise and admiration only to be short lived when he is suddenly stricken with reality when he visits this site

Great article, Pete. It’s nice to get an inside look at eaters and what drives them. The funny thing is, most people hating on you are just pissed that you’re able to get 10 times more money and attention doing your own thing than they ever did with the IFOCE.
