    Thanks for the posting the (first) docket number (he has a few) and your comments, Tiny. I’m afraid to talk about the charges against him because it may somehow hurt my case…but I’m scared of him and that’s why I’ve all but quit competitive eating. To be honest, I wish everyone knew about what he’s done in case something does happen to me.

    Gavonne was charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault which includes stalking, considering the facf that a legal aiid atrorney was appointed to his case and je couldnt make bail expect him to recieve a sentence of 6 months to a year behind bars bit take onto considertion that the guy is an asshole i would sentence him to life without the possibility of parole

    Hey Jill, I didn’t realize those court cases were pertaining to you, I wouldn’t have made light of the situation ..you shouldn’t have to crawl into a hole. I don’t know the situation between you two, but if you’re feeling threatened, I would hope a restraining order is in the works, and in that case he wouldn’t even be able to comment on your blog without getting in trouble.

    Jill no one should have to put up with that crap. I almost wish his a** was stalking me, because before I got done with him he’d consider another jail stint a more desirable alternative.

    I agree with Pat on that restraining order. Do consider that option. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and send up a prayer or two for what it’s worth.

    Don’t give him the satisfaction of thinking you’re afraid of him / that he has some sort of control over you. I know that’s easy to say, but I know his kind. He’s a vampire and that’s what people like him feed on.

    I wont reveal my identity but if he ever stalked me , he would have been eliminated attempting the first stalk. Jill if you had mob connections he would have moved out of this country months ago. This is certainly a blemish on the IFOCE’s reputation knowing that they allowed a convict to compete in their contests and i believe they were warned about him and still allowed him to compete. In addition he should be banned from showing up at any IFOCE event . Some form of restraining order should be put into effect as far as thats concerned

    This dude Jo is better off where he is at, behind bars.
    Stalkers are some very creepy individuals. And this creep fits the profile for sure.
    He once wrote about Arnie on his blog, talking shit about him and small threats.
    Jo tried to SELL me a cd with a phone conversation on it “proveing” that Arnie thratened him, for $9.99.
    Hope all is well with you Jill. And the restraining order sounds like a winner.
    Sorry if you (Jill) didnt want this exposed.
    But I wanted to shed light on what an asshole this guy is.
    And if IFOCE keeps letting him join there contests they should bow their heads in shame.

    I probably shouldn’t say this here, but there are two sides to every story and normally one is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

    Who knows if the dude’s guilty, a nut, or whatever. I don’t know either one of the people involved in this, and probably neither do any of these anonymous “so concerned” posters. If “Tiny” or anyone else here was really that concerned about Jill, it seems to me that they would have contacted her over six months ago when she suddenly took everything off the internet. This wouldn’t be news to you now. I know, I did.

    My point is, as I’ve said before, it’s very easy to talk about someone or something you really don’t know about here. Apparently it’s fun to pile on, too. But it would be nice if that weren’t the case (as usual) here. If this guy is guilty, I hope he gets put away and he learns a lesson. If he’s not, I hope he gets the chance that I know we’d all want to clear our name.

    What’s shameful is that some people think concern, compassion, and care look really good when it’s convenient for them.

    I think most of us who know of or actually know Jill give her the benefit of the doubt regarding credibility. I know I do. She’s not making this up. If I’m wrong I’ll owe someone a big apology. But I believe Jill. She deserves support here and now —- not later.

    I am guessing/fairly sure that Jill already had a restraining order which was probably violated. They are only pieces of paper. Yes, there are always two sides to every story, and the foundation of the justice system is innocent until proven guilty. But let’s be logical. You only need look at what the two individuals have posted and presented as representing themselves as individuals. I can find no possible reason for anyone to make up things and put themselves through the justice system when it comes to being stalked or in fear. While one could say that these comments are not about competitive eating, they are about individuals involved in competitive eating. Having people rally around something more important than winning, freedom from fear and the consequences of bad behavior becoming (allegedly) criminal, is what should be important.

    This whole story is somewhat peculiar. Wasnt it Gavonne that appeared either on this site or Jills blog defending her from others that were leaving negative comments about her . He played the role of prince charming to get on her good side then got his foot in the door and she apparantly started corresponding with him. It wasnt like he just plain stalked her. She must have known him and after awhile he became a pain in the ass and she couldnt get rid of him. I think that story makes more sense.

    although it’s months later I’ve just read the comments posted while I was incarcerated.you can check the webcrims site & see that I pled guilty to 1 count of contempt-for sending an e-mail in violation of an order of protection.But I never harmed Jill-never raised a hand in anger to her & she has no reason whatsoever to fear me.she just wants me out of the picture completely so she does not have to see me on the CE circuit.I will gladly do whatever she wants & can’t pretend to know what it has been like for her but she still has her job & her apartment & everything else.I have nothing.I just want people to know the facts.
